STEFANIE ADDINGTON, MD has joined the Diabetes and Thyroid Center of Fort Worth to offer specialized care for patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, Adrenal disorders, Parathyroid disorders as well as many other Endocrine related health issues. Dr. Addington grew up in Irving, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where she received a B.S. Biology degree in 1995. She then attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and received her M.D. in 1999. During medical school, she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), a prestigious honorary medical society. She completed both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. In 2004, she completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Returning to Irving, Dr. Addington began her endocrinology practice which grew quickly. She joined Diabetes and Thyroid Center of Fort Worth in July 2017. She has been a member of the American Medical Association, American Association of Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society. Dr. Addington believes in the importance of the doctor-patient relationship. She strives to provide the best in patient care while emphasizing compassion.
